Telling My Story

I’m a poet, a witch, a healer and a psychic medium. People wonder how I came to be those things. I have been asked many times for my story.

They don’t wonder so much about the poet; it’s the other things that intrigue them. Yet to me the poet is the most important aspect of me; it’s my vocation, my identity, and my soul. It’s the thing I can’t not do. (How good a poet I am or am not is beside the point. Though I seek to be as good as I can.) 

I think my poetry and all those other things I’ve listed were born in me. But that’s not the whole story; they might have lain dormant. That they didn’t is due to a number of people who influenced me, taught me, and inspired me.

I’m thankful for them all.
